Application for membership of the Drugs Research Network (DRNS)

We welcome applications from anyone interested in Scottish research into problem drug use.  This includes academic and peer researchers, Masters and PhD students, service providers, policy makers and anyone with personal experience of problem drug use, including affected family members.

A part of the DRNS membership includes access to an online members portal where you can access members only resoruces, discussion boards and early event access. On completion of the membership form, the DRNS team will be in touch to set you up on the portal.

The DRNS will handle your information in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  This means: we will store it securely to protect your confidentiality, we will not share your information with anyone else, we will only use it to communicate with you about the DRNS and set you up on the membership portal.  Our GDPR statement is available online here: http://drns.ac.uk/privacy-notice

Membership declaration

I understand that by becoming a member of DRNS I undertake to be part of a network of academics, service providers, practitioners, policymakers, commissioners and people with lived experience who are interested in drugs-related research.

I support the DRNS' aims which are: to develop a Scottish drugs research strategy; to build capacity, to maximise research investment and deliver robust, high-quality research evidence; to support policy and practice relevant to drug use and recovery in Scotland.

I am not affiliated with the tobacco or alcohol industry.

I consent that the DRNS can store the information I have provided in line with the General Data Protection Regulation.
